Keefektifan Media Pembelajaran Augmented Reality Berbasis STEAM dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar

Penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana siswa di sekolah dasar dapat memperoleh manfaat dari augmented reality (AR) yang berbasis STEAM. Penelitian ini melibatkan enam sekolah, masing-masing dengan tiga SD untuk kelas eksperimen (60 siswa) dan tiga SD untuk kelas kontrol (60 siswa). Untuk siswa di kelas enam Sekolah Dasar, proses pengumpulan data mencakup tiga puluh soal pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar dapat ditingkatkan melalui augmented reality berbasis STEAM. Hasil perhitungan uji t dengan SPSS menunjukkan bahwa thitung sebesar 2,874 lebih besar daripada ttabel sebesar 1,980 (df-2= 122-2= 120). Hasil gain normal sebesar 0,72 menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar baik sebelum maupun sesudah penggunaan media augmented reality berbasis STEAM. Menurut penelitian ini, guru dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan media dan metode pengajaran mereka. Salah satunya melibatkan penggunaan media augmented reality (AR).
