Focus And Scope

Jurnal Pelita: Jurnal Pembelajaran IPA Terpadu memublikasikan artikel ilmiah dalam bidang pembelajaran IPA terpadu dan pendidikan sains pada jenjang pendidikan dasar, menengah, dan tinggi. Artikel yang diterbitkan dapat berupa hasil penelitian, kajian konseptual, kajian literatur, maupun pengembangan perangkat, media, strategi, model, dan asesmen pembelajaran IPA.

Ruang lingkup Jurnal Pelita dikembangkan berdasarkan model integrasi IPA Terpadu, yaitu keterpaduan antara konteks IPA, pendekatan integratif, desain pembelajaran, dan capaian pembelajaran sains.

Jurnal Pelita menerima artikel dengan cakupan sebagai berikut:

  1. Konteks IPA dan Pendidikan Sains
    Meliputi pembelajaran IPA terpadu, Biologi, Fisika, Kimia, sains lingkungan, kesehatan, energi, teknologi, ekosistem, perubahan iklim, pencemaran lingkungan, serta isu-isu sains kontekstual dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
  2. Pendekatan Integratif dalam Pembelajaran IPA
    Meliputi STEM, STEAM, etnosains, literasi sains, Socio-Scientific Issues/SSI, Sains-Teknologi-Masyarakat/STM, pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal, pembelajaran kontekstual, pembelajaran berbasis lingkungan, serta integrasi sains dengan teknologi, seni, budaya, dan kehidupan masyarakat.
  3. Desain, Strategi, dan Inovasi Pembelajaran IPA
    Meliputi inquiry learning, discovery learning, problem-based learning/PBL, project-based learning/PjBL, eksperimen, praktikum IPA, virtual laboratory, media digital, multimedia interaktif, e-module, LKPD, augmented reality, simulasi pembelajaran, teknologi pembelajaran IPA, bahan ajar, perangkat pembelajaran, dan asesmen pembelajaran IPA.
  4. Capaian Pembelajaran dan Kompetensi Sains
    Meliputi hasil belajar IPA, higher order thinking skills/HOTS, critical thinking, creative thinking, problem solving, scientific literacy, conceptual understanding, science process skills, scientific attitude, collaboration, communication, environmental awareness, argumentasi ilmiah, serta kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan analitis dalam pembelajaran sains.

Artikel yang sesuai dengan Jurnal Pelita diharapkan memiliki keterkaitan yang jelas antara konteks IPA, pendekatan pembelajaran, desain pembelajaran, dan capaian pembelajaran yang dikaji.

Jurnal Pelita tidak memprioritaskan artikel pendidikan umum yang tidak memiliki keterkaitan langsung dengan pembelajaran IPA atau pendidikan sains. Artikel tentang model pembelajaran, teknologi pendidikan, media pembelajaran, atau asesmen hanya termasuk dalam ruang lingkup jurnal apabila diterapkan secara jelas pada konteks IPA terpadu, Biologi, Fisika, Kimia, sains lingkungan, atau isu sains kontekstual.

Dengan demikian, Jurnal Pelita berfokus pada pengembangan dan diseminasi kajian ilmiah tentang pembelajaran IPA terpadu berbasis integrasi konteks sains, pendekatan pembelajaran inovatif, desain pembelajaran, dan capaian kompetensi sains abad ke-21.

 

Jurnal Pelita: Jurnal Pembelajaran IPA Terpadu publishes scholarly articles in the field of integrated science learning and science education at primary, secondary, and higher education levels. The journal welcomes empirical research articles, conceptual papers, literature reviews, and studies on the development of learning tools, media, strategies, models, and assessments in science education.

The scope of Jurnal Pelita is developed based on the Integrated Science Learning Model, which emphasizes the integration of science contexts, integrative approaches, instructional design, and science learning outcomes.

Jurnal Pelita accepts articles within the following areas:

  1. Science Contexts and Science Education
    This area includes integrated science learning, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, environmental science, health, energy, technology, ecosystems, climate change, environmental pollution, and contextual science issues in everyday life.
  2. Integrative Approaches in Science Learning
    This area includes STEM, STEAM, ethnoscience, scientific literacy, Socio-Scientific Issues/SSI, Science-Technology-Society/STS, local wisdom-based learning, contextual learning, environment-based learning, and the integration of science with technology, arts, culture, and society.
  3. Instructional Design, Strategies, and Innovations in Science Learning
    This area includes inquiry learning, discovery learning, problem-based learning/PBL, project-based learning/PjBL, science experiments, laboratory activities, virtual laboratories, digital media, interactive multimedia, e-modules, student worksheets, augmented reality, learning simulations, science learning technology, teaching materials, learning tools, and science learning assessment.
  4. Science Learning Outcomes and Competencies
    This area includes science learning achievement, higher order thinking skills/HOTS, critical thinking, creative thinking, problem solving, scientific literacy, conceptual understanding, science process skills, scientific attitudes, collaboration, communication, environmental awareness, scientific argumentation, and reflective and analytical thinking skills in science learning.

Articles submitted to Jurnal Pelita are expected to demonstrate a clear connection between the science context, learning approach, instructional design, and learning outcomes being examined.

Jurnal Pelita does not prioritize general education articles that do not have a direct connection to science learning or science education. Articles on learning models, educational technology, learning media, or assessment are considered within the journal’s scope only when they are clearly applied to integrated science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, environmental science, or contextual science issues.

Therefore, Jurnal Pelita focuses on the development and dissemination of scholarly studies on integrated science learning through the integration of science contexts, innovative learning approaches, instructional design, and 21st-century science competencies.
