Dampak Komunitas Digital terhadap Degradasi Moral pada Kelompok Remaja Kota Pekanbaru

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah memperluas ruang interaksi sosial remaja melalui berbagai komunitas digital, termasuk komunitas permainan daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak keterlibatan remaja dalam komunitas permainan Mobile Legends terhadap perilaku moral mereka di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semiterstruktur, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan remaja yang aktif bermain dan berinteraksi dalam komunitas Mobile Legends di Kota Pekanbaru. Data dianalisis secara interaktif melalui tahapan kondensasi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan dan verifikasi kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan empat tema utama, yaitu melemahnya empati dan etika sosial, krisis identitas dan pergeseran nilai, kecenderungan kecanduan permainan daring, serta perilaku menyimpang. Temuan tersebut tercermin dalam penggunaan bahasa kasar, perilaku toksik, perundungan, rasisme, konflik, penipuan, penyesuaian perilaku terhadap norma kelompok, serta aktivitas bermain yang berlebihan hingga dapat mengganggu tanggung jawab sehari-hari. Isolasi sosial tidak ditemukan sebagai dampak yang dominan karena para informan tetap memanfaatkan komunitas sebagai ruang untuk berkomunikasi, bekerja sama, memperoleh dukungan sosial, dan berbagi pengalaman. Temuan penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh komunitas Mobile Legends terhadap perilaku moral remaja di Kota Pekanbaru tidak sepenuhnya negatif, tetapi dipengaruhi oleh kualitas interaksi, norma kelompok, pengendalian emosi, dan kemampuan regulasi diri. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan literasi digital, etika komunikasi, pengendalian diri, serta pendampingan dari keluarga, sekolah, dan pengelola komunitas untuk mendorong keterlibatan yang lebih bertanggung jawab dalam ruang digital.
