Pelatihan Basic Study Skill Kelistrikan untuk Mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Elektro

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan kepada 76 mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Universitas Nusa Cendana, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman teori dan keterampilan praktis dalam bidang kelistrikan, serta kesadaran akan keselamatan kerja. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mahasiswa adalah pemahaman dasar konsep kelistrikan yang terbatas, kurangnya keterampilan praktis dalam instalasi dan pengukuran listrik, serta rendahnya kesadaran akan keselamatan kerja di lingkungan kelistrikan. Sebagai solusi, dilakukan program pelatihan "Basic Study Skill Kelistrikan" yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan: pelatihan dasar teori kelistrikan, pendampingan teknik instalasi dan pemeliharaan kelistrikan, serta edukasi keselamatan kerja dan aplikasi praktis. Metode yang digunakan meliputi ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, praktik langsung di laboratorium, serta simulasi situasi darurat kelistrikan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan mahasiswa. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa. Sebelum pelatihan, rata-rata pengetahuan mahasiswa berkisar antara 65-70 dengan tingkat kelulusan 63%-68%. Setelah pelatihan, rata-rata pengetahuan meningkat menjadi 82-88 dan tingkat kelulusan melonjak ke 83%-88%, dengan peningkatan rata-rata 19% dalam persentase kelulusan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa program pelatihan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa, baik dalam hal pemahaman teoretis maupun keterampilan praktis yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja, serta meningkatkan kesadaran keselamatan kerja.
