The rapid development of digital technologies and increasingly competitive consumer markets has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to transform their business practices to maintain competitiveness and long-term sustainability. For thrift-based MSMEs such as Viocloth.id, digitalization and innovation are particularly important because business sustainability depends on the ability to expand market reach, improve operational efficiency, respond to changing consumer preferences, and continuously develop products and services. This study examines the effects of digitalization and innovation on sustainable business transformation at Viocloth.id, a thrift-based MSME. A quantitative research approach was employed using survey data collected from 100 Viocloth.id customers through structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed using SPSS to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on sustainable business transformation. The results indicate that digitalization has a positive and significant effect on sustainable business transformation by improving operational efficiency and expanding market reach through digital platforms. Innovation also has a positive and significant effect by enhancing product development and service quality, thereby strengthening business competitiveness. Simultaneously, digitalization and innovation explain 85% (R² = 0.850) of the variance in sustainable business transformation, indicating a substantial contribution of these factors to business sustainability, while the remaining 15% is attributable to other factors outside the research model. These findings imply that MSMEs should prioritize digital technology adoption and continuous innovation to improve competitiveness, operational performance, and long-term sustainability. In conclusion, digitalization and innovation constitute key strategic drivers of sustainable business transformation in thrift-based MSMEs.
