Sehat dalam Genggaman: Edukasi Pemanfaatan Telemedicine bagi Sivitas Akademika FKIK Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Digital Kesehatan

Pemanfaatan telemedicine sebagai bagian dari transformasi digital kesehatan memberikan kemudahan dalam mengakses layanan kesehatan secara cepat dan fleksibel. Meskipun demikian, pemanfaatannya belum sepenuhnya optimal karena masih terdapat keterbatasan pemahaman mengenai literasi digital kesehatan, penggunaan platform telemedicine, keamanan data pribadi, serta pemilihan layanan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Kondisi tersebut juga dijumpai pada sivitas akademika Fakultas Kedokteran dan Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar yang memiliki aktivitas akademik dan administratif dengan mobilitas tinggi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat literasi digital kesehatan melalui edukasi pemanfaatan telemedicine. Program dilaksanakan selama April–Juni 2026 dengan sasaran dosen dan tenaga kependidikan FKIK Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Rangkaian kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan literasi digital kesehatan, pelatihan dan praktik penggunaan telemedicine, serta kampanye literasi digital kesehatan melalui media edukasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta untuk memperoleh pemahaman mengenai konsep, manfaat, keamanan, dan etika penggunaan telemedicine serta pengalaman praktik menggunakan aplikasi telemedicine secara langsung dengan pendampingan tim pengabdian. Kegiatan juga menghasilkan media edukasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan kembali sebagai sumber informasi di lingkungan FKIK Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Keberlanjutan program diarahkan melalui penyelenggaraan edukasi secara berkala dan penguatan kolaborasi dalam mendukung pemanfaatan teknologi digital sebagai bagian dari layanan kesehatan yang mudah diakses, aman, dan bertanggung jawab.
