Teknologi telah membawa perubahan besar dalam cara orang mengakses informasi, melakukan penelitian, dan berkomunikasi secara global. Batasan geogrifis yang ditiadakakn akan mempermudah teknologi mengakses pendidikan yang lebih berkualitas, memungkinkan pengajaran yang lebih efektif untuk siapa saja. Semakin banyak teknologi diintegrasikan dalam proses pengajaran guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Perkembangan pesat ini juga menciptakan peluang untuk menemukan model pengajaran yang lebih inovatif. Oleh karena itu, teknologi memainkan peran penting dalam pembelajaran dan pengajaran keterampilan bahasa. Integrasi teknologi untuk mendukung pengajaran keterampilan bahasa Inggris menawarkan banyak manfaat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas isu-isu terkait penggunaan teknologi dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran bahasa. Peneliti mendefinisikan konsep integrasi teknologi, menjelaskan alasan di balik integrasi tersebut, menguraikan peran teknologi dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran, serta membahas peran guru dan siswa. Selain itu, artikel ini mengulas penelitian sebelumnya mengenai manfaat teknologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa, memaparkan situasi terkait Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK), dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk keberhasilan integrasi teknologi. Tinjauan literatur menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi di kelas secara signifikan meningkatkan pembelajaran dan pengajaran keterampilan bahasa Inggris.
