Analisis Penerapan Model SaaS pada Sistem IT Service Berbasis Web di PT Pura Barutama

Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada kebutuhan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan model SaaS dalam meningkatkan efisiensi, skalabilitas, dan kualitas layanan IT service berbasis web di PT Pura Barutama di tengah tuntutan transformasi digital yang semakin kompleks. Kelayakan integrasi model Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) ke dalam sistem layanan TI berbasis web internal di PT Pura Barutama diteliti dalam studi ini. Melalui pengamatan langsung, dokumentasi sistem, dan tinjauan literatur terkait SaaS dan migrasi cloud, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik studi kasus dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem layanan TI saat ini memenuhi kebutuhan dasar SaaS, yang mencakup berbasis web, memungkinkan manajemen layanan terpusat, dan menyediakan akses multi-pengguna di berbagai divisi. Namun, karena bergantung pada server lokal, sistem ini masih memiliki banyak kelemahan, termasuk skalabilitas sumber daya, akses jarak jauh, serta prosedur pencadangan dan pemulihan data secara manual. Keamanan data, biaya operasional jangka panjang, dan kesiapan sumber daya manusia adalah elemen penting yang harus dipertimbangkan sebelum migrasi penuh ke lingkungan SaaS, menurut laporan tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil ini, penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa sistem layanan TI PT Pura Barutama dapat secara bertahap dialihkan ke model SaaS, dengan langkah pertama dari transformasi ini adalah analisis kesiapan cloud, penerapan kontrol keamanan, dan migrasi percobaan pada modul-modul yang tidak krusial.
